Kiara College enables Year 10 students and above to participate in their Approved Specialist Agriculture program. In 2019, the school participated in the WA IoT DecisionAg Grant Program and chose AxisTech as their IoT supplier as part of their Pastoral Improvement Program.
A Sigfox Base Station was installed for device connectivity, one weather station, one rain gauge, seven soil moisture probes, and seven soil pH probes.
