Farm Data Sharing & Liming Optimisation Project
AxisTech has partnered with the WA Farm Data Sharing (WAFDS) team and Food Agility CRC to assist with grower data digitisation and management on the farm data sharing and liming optimisation project.
WAFDS is a collaboration between Grower Group Alliance (GGA), Curtin University, Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and funded by Food Agility CRC.
This project will assist growers with understanding return on investment for on-farm liming decisions. It has been developed in consultation with grower groups, growers, agronomists, farm consultants, agtech and data providers.
Liming Optimisation – Monte Carlo simulation model that uses farm data to generate thousands of scenarios to account for seasonal variability in weather and commodity prices. Initially the model will assess an optimal liming strategy.
We are seeking expressions of interest from growers to participate in the project. If you are interested please complete the form – LIMING PROJECT FORM.
