In October 2018, AxisTech was selected by MLA as one of the AgTech providers to install and deploy a number of our devices in a trial as part of the Carwoola Smart Farm Initiative.
The purpose of the trial was to deploy and test a range of connectivity solutions and AgTech technologies from a number of providers to gain an insight into what digital and connectivity solutions were readily available to producers at the time and what needed more research and investment.
As part of the project, AxisTech installed the over ten devices which were connected via the Sigfox network. This included five rain gauges, five soil moisture probes, and two weather stations.
